Trying to make sure we have enough funds to get through the holidays can be a stressful and taxing venture. With a little know how and some extra time, there are plenty of ways that extra funds can be accrued to make your holidays a little more enjoyable for yourself and your loved ones! Here are four tips on how you can make a little extra money:

4 Tips On Finding Some Extra Funds For The Holidays

1: Extra Jobs on the Side

There are many things you can do for friends, family and neighbors that they might be willing to pay you some extra cash for. Perhaps they need some pressure washing done, or a new paint job on their house, shed, or fence. Mowing lawns and fixing leaky faucets might be other jobs you can do for them. All you have to do is ask and you'd be surprised at what people are willing to pay you for!

2: Selling Homemade Goods

Etsy and eBay are both great places to sell your homemade goods. If you're a crafty or artsy person you could consider selling your masterpieces at these places. Anything from homemade clothing to paintings and even refinished furniture (for local pickup) are great ideas to sell on these websites. If you don't want to do the online route there are other ways you can unload your goods as well.

3: Yard Sales and Flea Markets

Yard sales and flea markets are great if you have a fair amount of items you'd like to sell. While you can sell your homemade items here as well, you can also sell many other items such as games, toys, baby items, and even baked goods! Try your hand at baking loads of delicious cookies and renting a table at your local flea market over the weekend. Don't forget to sell drinks as well - I'm sure after stuffing their faces with delicious cookies, customers will be thirsty!

4: Pawn Shops

Pawn shops such as www.ezcashcolumbus.com in Columbus, Ohio are great for earning extra holiday funds as well. Pawn shops will often give you top dollar for things like jewelry, precious stones, gold, tools, musical instruments, computers, laptops, and DVDs. One of the great things about taking advantage of a pawn shop is that compared to many other ways of earning extra money it takes very little effort. Plus, you're basically turning things you don't need or want into a more enjoyable holiday!
