Social Media Sites Like Facebook, Twitter Are They Time Wasters?

Lately I Am Addicted To twitter and Facebook.

I was trying to avoid these top social media sites because i knew if i get into them i'll be buried unknowingly. I was getting so many invites in my email to join them referred by my friends. Then i wanted to give it a go and joined them. Then i started to be involved with them more and more.

With the twitter i tried to gain some followers on the first few days then i totally stopped it. Then again after few months i became more involved and started to watch the followers list grow & grow and follow back them plus follow the ones suggested by twitter. So when i am writing this i am following 1280 twitterers and my followers counts 731. When it crossed 500 it felt so good and waiting to see how i'll feel when it crosses 1000 and thats not too far away if i am actively participating in the tweets.

In the twitter i like some of the tweets, mostly quotes and ideas with less clicking links. So i RT back if the posting is at the same time as i visit the site and it sounds interesting. After a while i found some cool tweet helping tools twellow, twibs, bit.ly,socialoomph, tweetbeep, and so on... They are really cool tools and are recommended for use.

And with facebook i spend quite more time nowadays. Check what everyone else is doing. Friends recent party and travel photos. Play games like farmville, cafe world, mafia wars etc. But i don't like mafia one much as i haven't looked into that much yet. But i have been busy with farmville now and it started to look quite nice than last few days now and thinking how to make it look better. Have got a lot of coins so probably one day i'll cheat and go level up by just continuous digging and deleting as you get point while digging and by deleting you have space to dig again which i found out just today.

Because of all these my time with codefight cms have been highly affected and haven't done anything lately. And, i am working full time as well so, 9 to 6+ always in job pressure and is much much more pressure working from home. I wanted it to be one of the great Codeigniter CMS but been lazy lately. The main thing stopping me is design. I am not a designer and i am not sure what looks best and i don't have logo yet as well.

From nov 29 i'll be on holiday (going to NEPAL), so all my sites will probably be unattended but if i got time i'll add some more functionalities and release to the public for the test and use. Also, any feedback helps one to work and dedicate some time on the project, so hopefully i'll be getting some feedbacks too.
