While it seems somewhat ludicrous to be picking holes in the business plan of a huge global success story like Google, their unveiling of their new Chromebook Pixel - a touchscreen laptop - certainly raises at least small questions relating to the direction they are headed.
There is a famous saying, 'While truth walks a mile, rumor travels around the globe.' Well, this is true in the case of Google, as it is stated that the search engine giant is all set to venture into the hardware business by manufacturing its own 'Chromebook.'
Till date the Chrome operating system was supplied by Google to OEM's like HP, Samsung, Acer and others. Per the leaked details, the device sports a stylish name 'Chromebook Pixel'. Google has an ambitious plan of launching the Chromebook solely designed by its engineers. The Chromebook is supposed to have the Ultra high resolution display as that of the MacBook Pro, which comes with the Retina display.
